I saw on the news this morning that Rod Beck died a couple days ago at the age of 38. Kind of makes me sad. I don’t watch baseball anymore, but it was a big part of my life when I was a kid. I collected baseball cards, played baseball in the street every day and all that jazz. Rod Beck was a household name. Especially when he played for the San Francisco Giants. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
